  Notes	Obituary, copied from his FindAGrave memorial page, created by Mary Jo: Published in The Alabama Courier, Athens, AL, Thursday, April 7, 1949 James Riley McLemore, 81, of Athens Route 5, died at his residence on March 10 at 5 p.m. after an illness of five years. He was a failthful member of the Baptist church for 60 years. Funeral services were held at Clements High on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment was in the City Cemetery. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lena Dudley of Detroit and Mrs. Louis Elledge of Tuscumbia; three sons, Fred McLemore of Athens Route 5, Amos McLemore of Oak Ridge and Carlos McLemore of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Evy Bridges and Mrs. Belue Ezell of Athens Route 2; one brother, Alvis McLemore; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
