He was born on June 10, 1927, and was a lifetime resident of Yellowpine, and a member of Operating Engineers Local 450. Survivors: brother, R.L. McDaniel and wife, Bonnie of Yellowpine; sister, Ollie Faye Sparks of Yellowpine and Merlene Davidson of Hemphill. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Coussons. Funeral services were held in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Sept. 18. Interment followed in Yellowpine Cemetery. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong, Fall 2007)
