  • Name Mariah A. McLemore  [1
Born Abt 1833  Alabama Find all individuals with events at this location  [1
    Gender Female
    Died Abt 1901  [2
    Notes
    • It is assumed that Mariah is the daughter of Abner McLemore, due to her proximity to Abner's sons on the 1860 through 1900 Calhoun County, Mississippi census, and the fact that a McLemore was living with her family in 1880. However the transcription of her marriage record shows her last name as Lemon, and further shows her as being born in South Carolina. Therefore more work should be done to proof or disprove this connection.

Another Mariah McLemore could instead be Abner's daughter. This second Mariah McLemore was born ca 1835 and married Charles Pinckney Campbell on 6 Oct 1861 in Lawerence County, Mississippi. The Mariah that married Charles Campbell is an ancestor of Lisa Coker Thigpen. (LisaHeb138@aol.com).
