  Notes	His Texas Death certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, shows him as the son of William Henry Laird and Letha Conn. He is lsited as a veteran of World War II, and an engineer at a Gas Pipeline. The informant was his wife, Mrs. June Laird. On her annotated transcription of the Gravel Hill Cemetery index, Kay Parker McCary notes that he was a Mason, a veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII, and that he shares a double marker with June Laird Strange.
