Dollie was the youngest of four children in the home, her siblings were Vera, Jay B., and Bessie. The family was still in Angelina County in 1930, with three additional children having been born, Nellie/Mellie, Henry and Jim Bob. In 1940 Dollie and the three youngest children were still living in Angelina County with their parents. Dollie, age 21, was widowed, being listed as Dollie E. Alexander, and the mother of 1 year old Clint Alexander.
