?/b?Evelyn Louise Alexander, 88, of Jasper died June 17 at the Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston. Funeral services will be held today, June 20, 11 a.m. at Tanglewood Baptist Church under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont at 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include her daughter Carol McLEMORE of Houston; son Frank McLEMORE of Montgomery; eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Evelyn Louise Alexander , 88, of Jasper, died Sunday, June 17, 2007 at the Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston.
A native of Beaumont, she graduated from St. Anthony High School in Beaumont. Evelyn was a homemaker until the children were out of school when she began working in the Food Service Deparment for many years at Beaumont, Houston, and Jasper, where she retired in 1990. She enjoyed cooking and played bridge. She was known as "Stonewall Jackson" during school on the basketball team and as Nonie to her family.
Survivors: daughter, Carol McLEMORE and husband Don of Houston; son Frank McLEMORE and wife Joan of Montgomery, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, two nephews, and two loving nieces who watched over her and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.B ands Beatrice Jackson, as well as a sister, Mary STOTT.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at the Tanglewood Baptist Church in Jasper. Interment will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.
Services under the direction of Forest Oaks Funeral Home in Jasper. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences can be made at www.timeformemories.com
