Served in Nebraska National Guard for six years. Employee, Nebraska Public Power District. Member, Trinity United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 3, DAV Post 7, Moose Lodge 175, Lancaster Lodge 54 A.F. & A.M., American Forward Association, Western Fraternal Lodge 426, Nebraska Czechs of Lincoln.

      Survivors: wife, Erma; son, Keith Allan Rohla, Denver; daughter, Virginia James, Lincoln; grandchildren, Gabrielle James, Manhattan, Kan., Zachary James, Lincoln; great-grandson, Cameron James, Lincoln; brother, sister-in-law, Milo and Fern Rohla, Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Gladys Loos, Lincoln. Preceded in death by son, Michael Duane; parents; sister, brother-in-law, Frances and James Fisher; brother-in-law, Russell Loos.
