She was born in Beaumont, on September 10, 1938, to Marie Martin Johnson and Patrick Johnson. Survivors include her son, Jon Paul Boyett and his wife, Kelly of Devers; daughter, Rebecca Villarreal and her husband, Eduardo of League City; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-six years, James R. Boyett, Sr.; and son, James "Jim" Roy Boyett, Jr. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Gravell Hill Cemetery, Hemphill, under the direction of Broussard's.
