  Notes	Obituary Tommy Lynn Neal, 73, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Tommy was born in Hemphill on February 4, 1950 to G. A. "PeeWee" Neal and Pauline Gooch Neal. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of First Baptist Church in Pineland. He worked for many years as City Manager for the City of Hemphill and later as City Manager for the City of Kirbyville. He also spent a few years working for J & D Construction. Tommy enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a charter member of Pines Hunting Club, where he was a member for over 40 years. He is survived by his brother, Bob Neal and wife, Charlene, of Hemphill; nephews and nieces, Bobby and Tami Neal, Josh and Teresa Neal, and Jessica and Kyle Conn; and great nephews and nieces, Trey Neal, Travis Neal, Katie Neal, Kacie Neal, Trent Neal, Kylie Conn and Jake Conn. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr Street, Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Visitation will begin 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow services in Springhill Cemetery with Bobby Neal, Josh Neal, Trey Neal, Travis Neal, Trent Neal and Jake Conn serving as pallbearers.
