Clark, 82, died January 9, 2014, at home in Hemphill Texas. He was born in Sabine County on May 2, 1931 to William Ira Clark and Lexi McNaughten Clark. W.T. was a retired DPS officer, having worked for forty years in the Beaumont area before retiring in 1993. He was also a veteran of the Korean War, a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. W.T. is survived by his wife, Rosa Clark of Hemphill; his three sons, Ricky Clark of Hemphill, Ronald Clark and wife Kathy of Hemphill, and Michael Clark and wife Marilyn of LaBelle Texas; one daughter, Dianna Clark of Vidor; one sister, Oweda Boyd of Nacogdoches; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, January 10, at Starr Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, TX 75948. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery in Sabine County.
