She was born 1 Oct 1874 in LA (1940 census) or TX (death certificate) and died 16 Oct 1947 in Sabine Co, TX. According to family tradition Jack's family called her "Miss Priscilla." According to her death certificate her name was spelled Pursillar, she was the daughter of John Smith and is buried in Weeks Chapel Cemetery (Newton Co., TX). The informant on the death certificate was Jack's daughter, Mrs. W. D. (Hattie) Wood Withers. Masonic symbol on his tombstone.
