    • John W. Clark writes that he married four times. First to a "Lue", and they were the parents of Emma, born 1880 in Erath County, TX. Emma married J. E. Massengale. He married second Anna, and they were the parents of Walter and Joseph Edward, both of whom were said to have gone to California. His third wife was Ellen Clark, and his fourth wife Ruth Aurelia "Relie" Clark. Ellen and Relie were both daughters of Pascal Clark and Elizabeth Wallace of Sabine County.
