  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Wednesday, October 7, 1987 Page 11 Walter Jezewski Walter Jezewski, 70, of Cass City died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness. He was born April 21, 1917, in Detroit, the son of Stephen and Proxeda (NAWICKI) Jezewski and came to Cass City as a young man. Jezewski and Miss Helen JOOS were married March 26, 1940 in Cass City where they made their home. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church of Cass City and had been a fireman since 1946. Survivors, besides his wife Helen, are one son, James JEZEWSKI, and one grandson, Jason, both of Cass City; 3 brothers, Jerome JEZEWSKI of Livonia, Dennis JEZEWSKI of Grand Rapids and Benjamin JEZEWSKI of Detroit, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Charles CHANDLE of Livonia and Mrs. Adeline SIMPSON of St. Clair Shores. One son, John, preceded him in death. A Fireman's memorial service will be held Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. at Little's Funeral Home, Cass City. He will be taken to Salem U.M. Church Thursday to lie in state until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service. Rev. Clare Passon, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Elkland Cemetery. (Transcribed by Melinda McLemore Strong)

  	Cass City Chronicle Thursday, April 8, 1965 Page Three Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jezewski were honored at a surprise party for their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday, April 3, in the Evangelical United Brethren church basement. Fifty persons attended the party which was give by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jezewski and Mrs. Maurice Joos. Guests came from Pigeon, Caro and Cass City. George Dillman provided entertainment, and refreshments were served. The couple received many gifts. Mrs. Jezewski was born in Detroit April 21, 1917. He is service manager at Auten Motors, where he has been employed for 20 years. Mrs. Jezewski is the former Helen Joos and was born Aug. 20, 1920 in Cass City. They were married in the EUB parsonage at Cass City by the Rev. Mr. Holsapple. They have one son, Jim Lee Jezewski of Cass City. Another son, John Wayne, died several years ago.
