He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gayla McBride; his daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Rodney Wright of Nashville, Arkansas; his son and daughter-in-law, Mack and Katy McBride of Bronson; his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Patricia McBride of Hemphill; his sister and brother-in-law, Glenda and David Hodges of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jean White of Bronson, Huey and Jent Britt of Center, Steve and JoAnn Speight of Bronson, Jim and Shelia Whitton of Pineland, Kelvin and Tempie McCary of Bronson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; family and friends. All are welcome now, with a future opportunity for friends and family to celebrate his life at a later time, to be determined. Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
