  Notes	Cass City Chronicle Thursday, December 18, 1980 Page Six Rites held for Ernest Mark, 82 Ernest Lester Mark of Saginaw died Friday, at his residence after a long illness. He was born April 5, 1898, in Elkland Township, the son of Walter and Myrtle (Karr) Mark. Mark married Mita Hall in June, 1927, in Redford. Following their marriage, they made their home in Redford, moving in 1941 to Hubbard Lake, where they operated a resort. In 1954 they retired to Florida, where Mrs. Mark died March 9, 1961. Mark married Mrs. Mae Jones in April, 1963, in Florida. She died in May of this year. Mark then moved to Saginaw. He was a member of the State Street United Methodist Church of Saginaw. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Army Air Service. Mark is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Lois) Arthur of Saginaw; two grandchildren, Scott and Karen; one brother, Alton Mark of Cass City; one sister, Mrs. Esther Hunter of Cass City, and one nephew, Robert Hunter, also of Cass City. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from Little's Funeral Home, Cass City, with Rev. Donald Porteous of the State Street United Methodist church of Saginaw officiating. Burial will be in Elkland Cemetery.
