She was born on February 1, 1942 in Vonore, TN, and moved to Rockford, IL in 1956. She attended school in Monroe County, and then graduated from West High School, in Rockford, in 1960. She worked for Barber Coleman, and then moved back to Madisonville, TN in 1994, where she enjoyed her retirement. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Mae Shields; siblings, Ruby, Glen, Roy, Jewelene, and Leon. Survivors: Husband of 54 wonderful years, James R. Hogue; Children, Dana Kulpa and John Baldock, Dale and Kim Hogue; Grandchildren, Cassandra and Caitlin Hogue, Krystina, Andrew, and Joseph Kupla, Jennifer and James Baldock; Great grandchildren, Destiney Altamirano, Madison Baldock, and Aleena James; Siblings, Tommie and Clyde Shickles, Robert and Marty Shields. Funeral Service 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 29, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Gib Harris officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Monday, Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
