He moved to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. in 1969 after retiring from the Air Force. He served 23 1/2 years. John is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Eden Bernice Roses. He is survived by his four children, Bob Roses, Bill Roses, Barbara Workman and Debrah Betterelli; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
