  Notes	Obituary, copied from FindAGrave Evelyn Brooks McDaniel, of Hemphill, died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at her home in Hemphill. She was born May 20, 1932 in Burkeville Texas to Taylor Brooks. She was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of East Mayfield Baptist Church. Evelyn is survived by her two sons, Glenn McDaniel and wife Lisa of Hemphill and Larry McDaniel of Hemphill; her daughter Linda McSwain of Hemphill; her sister Ethel Jordan of Magnolia Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, February 12, at Starr Funeral Home. Funerals Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 13, at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services to follow at Oakhill Cemetery.
