Mary was born on September, 15, 1944 to Walter Reese Smith and Maywood West Smith in Beaumont. A lifetime resident of the Sabine County area, Mary loved music, the Hallmark Channel, and food. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Maywood Smith. Mary is survived by her brother Gary Smith and wife Carol of Hemphill; her two sisters, Patsy Kilcrease of Pineland, and Jennifer Hardy and husband Scott of Pineland; her five nephews, Adam, Brett, Brad, Wes, and Reese; and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mary will be 12:30, Monday, December 28, 2020, at Antioch Cemetery, in San Augustine County under the direction of Starr Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staffs of Hemphill Care Center and Sabine County Hospital for their care and hard work during this trying time.
