Saturday, October 03, 1987 Eloiza Canales Beeville - Mrs. Eloiza Canales, 80, of Beeville, died Thursday in a Goliad hospital following a short illness. A native of Webb County, she was born May 22, 1907. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with the Rev. Bartholo DeLeon officiating. Burial will follow the services in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Trevino Funeral Home. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sophie Martinez and Mrs. Santo Kerfoot of Beeville, three sons, Adolfo Fuentes and Louis C. Sanchez, Sr of Beeville, Juca C Sanchez Sr of Youngsville, LA; two sisters, Mrs. Benita Moreno of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Jesusa Contreras of San Antonio, a brother, Servando Laurel of Corpus Christi, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
