  Notes	A graveside service will be held for Ava Forse Ponder, 103, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine County on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Her celebration of life will be hosted by her great grandson, Bryan Morgan. Ava passed away on September 28, 2018 in Westward Trails Nursing Home in Nacogdoches, TX. She was born in San Augustine, TX. In her younger years, Ava enjoyed being a waitress and serving and meeting customers. She was very proud of dressing properly and making sure her makeup and hair was in perfect place. One of her favorite passions was collecting and wearing beautiful shoes especially stilettos. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren. She was always fun to be around and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Ponder; son, Marlon Ponder; one grandson; three granddaughters. She is survived by son, Carl Ponder; daughters, Murlene Weaver and Doris Mora; two daughters-in-law, Frances Ponder and Yukiko Ponder; four granddaughters; twelve great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
