Thelma's obituary from THE DUNCAN BANNER dated 11 June 1996 read: Mary Thelma Gentry Callahan Duncan resident Mary Thelma Gentry Callahan, 84, died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at home. Service will be at 10 am Thursday in First United Methodist Church under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral home with the Rev. Phil Wahl and the Rev. Eldon Moelling officiating. Mrs. Callahan was born January 13, 1912 in Duncan to the late Edgar and Sara (Kincannon) Gentry. She was married to the late John T. Callahan in 1934. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a nephew, Charlie Gentry of Duncan; a grandnephew, Chris Gentry of Lawton; a grandniece, Tara Gentry of Duncan; and a sister-in-law, Toy Gentry of Duncan. She was preceded in death by a brother, W.T. Gentry.
