  Notes	Most sources show his middle name as Lawrence, which was his father's first name, but some instead show his middle name as Louis. Francis Simmons shows that Robert married Kathryn Eloise Wilkins, and that they were the parents of Larry, Don, and Austin Fullen. Ameth Carmicheal ALSO lists this marriage: iii. Effie COOPER (daughter of John Cooper and Anna Pounds) was born 1894 in Arkansas. She married Robert Lawrence (Bob) FULLEN, son of Lawrence "Lon" Allen FULLEN and Margarete Elvina MCNAUGHTEN. He was born 1904 in Milam, Sabine County, Texas. Effie's older sisters, Jeanett "Nettie" Cooper and Julia Bay Cooper, married Fullen brothers. Their husbands were both sons of James Fullen and Katherine Elizabeth Parker. Robert was a first cousin, once removed, of their husband's. Francis Simmons, however, does not note this marriage. Cheryl Fullen, the wife of Robert's son Don Wheelan Fullen, writes that "Robert was married 4-5 times..Effie was one wife" but that Kathryn Wilkins was her mother-in-law, and the mother of Robert's three sons, Larry, Don (her husband) and Austin.
