    • Mr. Martin Gabel Dickerson, age 62, a lifelong resident of San Augustine County and Sabine County, he passed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2015, in Hemphill.

      Martin Gabel was born May 8, 1952, to Annie Laura (Marshall) Dickerson and Ray Dickerson in Pineland, Texas. He was employed as a Lineman for the Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative in San Augustine for a number of years.

      Those who are left to cherish his memory include, Daughter, Heather Bell of Hemphill; Son, Christopher Dickerson and his wife, Amber of Hemphill; His grandchildren, Kyla; Shayla; Blake; Katie and Brayden; Sister, Beulah Robinson and her husband, David of Lufkin; Mother of his children, JoAnne Wise of Hemphill, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

      Those who are serving him as pallbearers will include, Roland Marshall; Joey Dickerson; Rodney Ainsworth; Frank Marshall; Roger Mitchell; Steven Farris and Robert Marshall. Honorary Pallbearers will include, Eddie Dickerson; Jack Marshall; Keith Davis; Roy Murray and Dwain Erwin.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Annie Dickerson; a infant son; brother, Lee Allen Dickerson and Sister, Annie Ray Mott.

      Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Michael Dickerson officiating. Interment will be in the Chinquapin Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday evening, April 2, 2015, from the hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas 75972.
