    At the time of the 1930 Federal Census, Arlie was living with her three sons in Dallas and listed as a widow. They were renting a home for $15 a month. Her occupation was shown as "seamstress/dressmaking." Her oldest son, Carvie, was listed as a helper in a grocery store.

    She was listed as age 36, and indicated she was married when she was 21. Carvie L. was shown as age 14, Milton T. as age 11, and John A as age 9. All four of them were born in Texas.

    Memorial service Saturday Febg. 21, 2004 at Westbury Church of Christ, 10424 Hillcroft, Houston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The ARC of Ft. Bend County, 3660 Glenn Lakes Lane, Missouri City, TX.
