George Willie Bell

Notes:

He was said to have married Laura DICKERSON ca 1900. In her annotated transcription of the Brookeland Cemetery, Kay Parker McCary has erroneously shown him as a son of John R. Bell and July Ann Bradshaw (sic). He is actually a son of John Henry Bell and Fannie Easley, therefore a grandson of John R. and Julia Bell.

George married Laura Ann Dickerson about 1900. Laura was born on 6 Dec 1879 in Texas; died on 12 Jan 1951 in Houston, Harris County, Texas; was buried in Brookeland Cemetery, Brookeland, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

The digital image of his actual Texas Death Certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, shows him as the son of Willie Bell and Laura Dickerson, both of Texas. The informant was hiw wife, Mrs. M. M. Bell. He died at the Santa Fee Hospital in Temple, his usual residence being Silsbee, Texas. His usual occupation was shown as that of a Railroad Yardmaster.
