    Notes:

    (Marie) graduated from Milligan High School and received a degree from the School of Business in Grand Island. She returned to Saline and Fillmore Counties to teach in rural schools. Marie continued her education at the Nickolas Senn Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating as a Registered Nurse. She opened the first nursing home in Wilber, operating it for two years. (Milligan, pp 259-260).

    Marie married Thomas E. Divoky on 28 Feb 1933. Thomas was born about 1903 in Saline County, Nebraska; died in Jan 1960. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
