    Funeral services for Wade Rennels will be conducted Wednesday, April 3, 1991 at 2 p.m. in the A.G. Creach Hammon School Auditorium with Bro. O.B. Dunpal and Dick Rennels officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Wade Warren Rennels was born June 5, 1917 in Colter, Oklahoma and died late Sunday, March 31, 1991 at the age of 73. Wade was born in the Colter Community and has lived in the Colert-Carpenter Community all of his life. Wade was married to Gertie Mooney on March 24, 1940 at Carpenter in the Mooney family home. He worked in the family general store and the booster plant in Carpenter for 16 years. Wade was also a farmer and enjoyed driving a school bus for the Hammon School district for 25 years. Wade retired in 1988 but continued as a substitute driver. In January of 1990 he became ill and has been in ill health since. Wade was a member of the Colter Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Gertie of the home. Two sons; Ronnie and his wife Cindy of Clinton and Danny and his wife Debbie of Sentinel. Also two brothers; Doyle Rennels of Talent, Oregon and A.J. "Mutt" Rennels of Canute. Three grandchildren: Bradley Rennels and his family of Clinton, Pam Rennels Muncrief and her husband Rob of San Marcos, Texas and Ryan Dale Rennels of Sentinel. Also, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family requests that lasting memories of love be sent to the West Oklahoma Cancer Center of Elk City or the Red Hill Cemetery rust in care of the First Community Bank of Hammon or the Tipton's Orphans Home, Box 370, Tipton, OK 73570.
