William Morris Anthony

William Morris Anthony was born ca June 1827 in what is now Sabine Parish. His property contained 1200 acres of land and he was listed as having more than 6 slaves in 1861. William was a Police Juror for some time prior to the Civil War and served in the CSA as a Lieutenant in the Second Louisiana Calvary. He wa a member of the Little Flock Lodge No. 180, and listed as Methodist. William is listed as a boarder in the home of E.M. and Willie Morris in 1900. (Casagranda, 1850 Census, p 77).
