    Opal Brown, 72, of Pineland passed away at home January 13, 2006, after a brief illness. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Brenda LEE of Pineland, Connie BENNETT and Joe of Pineland, Yvonne HAWKINS and Glen of Many, Jack "Pete" LEE and Ramona of Nacogdoches, Steven LEE and Sheri of Pineland, and Alan BROWN and Patsy of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses: Gerald TATOM and Faye of Silsbee, Cecil TATOM and Ann of Pineland, Nell BUTLER and Roy of Hemphill, and Kathy HUTTO and E.H. of Palacios. She will be remembered and missed by her grandchildren: Cecil TATOM; Rebecca BENNETT; April McCAULEY; Jarrod, Jaime and Jessi LEE; Brittany DOWDEN; Vonnie, Mary and LeeAnn HAWKINS; Craig and Chris BROWN; and Monica HINCHEE. She also had one great granddaughter, Brietta LEE. Funeral services will be held Sunday Jan. 15, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas with Bro. Wayne Alford officiating. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cecil "Guru" Tatom, Jarrod Lee, Carlos Cruz, Rhett Hutto, Charlie Hutto and Christopher Clark.
