WWI Draft Registration shows him as William Stirling (sic) McLemore, DOB April 17, 1889, Dallas, Texas, and working as a clerk at Wells Fargo Express, with a wife, two children, and a mother-in-law as dependents. He was tall, with brown hair and dark eyes. His address at the time was 4015 Bowser Street in Dallas. The form was dated June 15, 1917.

?/b?HAZEL GREEN, Wis. -- Sister Mary McLemore, OP, (Mary Lucas), 95, of Saint Dominic Villa, died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Saint Dominic Villa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at Queen of the Rosary Chapel, Dominican Motherhouse Sinsinawa, with burial in the Motherhouse Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:15 p.m. today at the Gathering Place at the Motherhouse, where there will be a wake and remembering service at 6:30 p.m. The Behr's Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
Sister Mary McLemore was an intermediate grade school teacher for 44 years and tutored part time prior to retirement in 1996. Her ministry took her to Colorado, Wisconsin, New Jersey, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois and New York.

She was born on Oct. 31, 1913, in Dallas, daughter of Nell Cone and William Sterling McLemore.
She made her first profession of vows on Aug. 5, 1942.

Surviving are nieces; nephews; and the Dominican sisters, with whom she shared life for 66 years.
