Keith Clent Clark, 71, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, in the Woodland Heights Hospital in Lufkin.

Clark was born in Hemphill to Lathern and Murrell Foster Clark and was a lifetime resident of Sabine County. He was serving as a Sabine County Commissioner at the time of his death. He is also a member of the Sexton Masonic Lodge #251, Eastern Star, Sons of the Republic of Texas and the First Baptist Church in Hemphill.

He is survived by his wife Louise Clark of Hemphill, daughter Becky Nix of Hemphill, three sons; Dennis Clark of Mont Belvieu, Jeff Clark and his wife Elaine of Crosby, and Brian Clark and his wife Amber of Mont Belvieu, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Paul Clark and his wife Bonnie of Bossier City, LA and four sisters; Bobbie Herrington of Pineland, Sue Nell Medley of Jacksonville, JoAnn Harley of Pineland and Wanda Hines of Morristown, TN.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic graveside services followed in the Harpers Chapel Cemetery, Hemphill.

Keith married Naomi Louise Davis on 19 Jul 1958 in Pineland Cemetery, Pineland, Sabine County, Texas. Naomi was born on 6 Jul 1943 in Center, Shelby County, Texas; died on 20 Jan 2021 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Harpers Chapel Cemetery, Sabinetown, Sabine County, Texas.
