Her parents were listed as Charlie Bennettt and Louise Brazille, both born in South Carolina, and her husband was listed as John R. Polley, with "Married Nov. 25, 1875" handwritten in the left margin of the death certificate . Her occupation was shown as housewife, and she was a resident of Sexton, Texas. At the time of the 1930 Federal census she was living with her son, Dan Polley, and his family in Sabine County.

She died in childbirth, along with the infant, before June 13, 1900. It is thought that she and her baby could be buried in the Polley Cemetery in unmarked graves."

"Grover Lee Polley, 79, of Port Neches, Texas died Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas.

Grover was born April 7, 1933 in Sexton, Texas. He was a resident of this area for the past 10 years and a former resident of Sexton, Texas. He worked construction for 25 years and was a US Army Veteran.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 a. m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Jeremy Bradshaw officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Frederick Polley of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Trop P. Frederick of Friendswood, Texas; Chris Frederick and wife Wendy of Pine Forest, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, and Zac; nephew, Buddy Strickland."

She was a Parts Clerk for Cowboy Harley in Beaumont, Texas. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Starr Funeral Homes in Hemphill.
