1. | Emil Yeck was born on 27 Jul 1882; died on 8 Apr 1907 in Saline County, Nebraska. Notes:
(Research):Census Listings:
Sharon Nemeth transcribed the following from the 1900 censu
s:
Matano (Mike?) Yeck, born Sept. 1846 Bohemia, immigrated 1874, Farmer
Frances Yeck, born July 1846 Bohemia, immigrated 1874
Emil Yeck (son), born July 1882 Nebraska
Tony Yeck (daughter), born April 1884 Nebraska
Agnes Yeck (daughter), born April 1886 Nebraska
Frank Yeck (son), born Feb. 1888 Nebraska
There is also a Joe Yeck family in the 1900 Census, Saline County, Atlanta precinct:
Joe Yeck, born March 1876 Nebraska, both parents born in Bohemia
Judy Yeck, born Feb. 1876 Nebraska, both parents born in Bohemia
Joe Yeck (son), born May 1899 Nebraska
The Census data says go with the marriage license info. "Tony" in the Census data would be "Tonie" on the license &, I agree, is probably a nickname for Antonie.
The Census data shows that Frances Yeck was the mother of 9 children, all of them living, so I think it would be a good bet that the older Joe Yeck is one of Matano and Frances's sons.
Emil married Emma Hran?cov on 22 Sep 1903 in Fillmore County, Nebraska. Emma (daughter of ??? ??? and Ruzena "Rousy" Hran?cov) was born on 1 Oct 1882 in Bohemia; died on 26 Jun 1935 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
