    Paul Williams located her birth record from Rockcastle County, Kentucky. She is shown as Martisha Waddle, born 13 August 1858, to John Woddle and Susan McLemore.

    Paul also located a copy of her death certificate. It instead has her date of birth as August 15, 1860. She was shown as the daughter of Louise McLemore and John Waddell of Kentucky, and the widow of Alfred Lambert. At her time of death, Mary had been a resident of Kansas City for 49 years, her home being located at 2820 Peery. She died of Chronic Myocarditis, aggravated by a case of Influenza of 10 days duration. She was buried at the Forest Hill Cemetery. Informant was Mrs. Albert T. Lambert.

    Mrs. Mary M. Lambert, age 82 years, passed away at the home of her son, Mr. Albert T. Lambert, 2820 Peery, January 21, 1943. Mrs. Lambert is survived also by 2 daughters Mrs. Anna B. O'Reilly 2820 Peery; Mrs. Mabel Jenkins, Pico, Calif.; 2 brothers, S.V. Waddell, 533 S. Drury; Robert Waddell, 224 Eaton; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services from the Gates Chapel,State Line @ 41st, Saturday afternoon, January 23rd @ 2 o'clock, burial Forest Hill cemetery

    Mary married Alfred Lambert on 18 Mar 1884 in Atchison, Atchison County, Kansas.
