Sukovaty -- Agnes, 100, Lincoln, died Sunday (6/24/01). Her early years were spent on a farm south of Milligan. Attended country school, District 43. Married, (11/20/23) to Elmer Sukovaty . Enjoyed her family and friends, always making them welcome for a visit. Her garden and flowers were very much of interest.

Survivors: son, Norbert; daughter, Marietta Stanley; grandson, David Sukovaty , Lincoln; granddaughter, Kathi Avery, Dillon, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Tyler Avery, U.S. Navy; Amy Avery, Silverthorn, Colo. Preceded in death by husband, Elmer; parents; infant brother and sister; brothers, James, Joseph, Louis; sisters, Mary Stejskal, Anna Buzek, Mollie Nadherny; son-in-law, George W. Stanley; grandson, Robert Allen Stanley; niece, Mildred Tesar; nephews, Rudolph, Raymond, Richard Buzek.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home Chapel, 4040 A St. The Rev. Roger Casteel. Pallbearers: Arnold Berry, Allen Brozovsky, Dick Griffin, Arnold Nadherny, Ron Nadherny, David Sukovaty . Visitation: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. today, funeral home. Memorials in care of the family.

Sukovaty - Norbert E., 78, Lincoln, died Monday (11/10/03). Retired, independent insurance agent. Member, Calvary United Methodist Church. Secretary for Independent Insurance Agents for 30 years. Membership secretary for the IIAN and one year was honored as agent of the year. Served as president of Lincoln Fellowship of Churches. Past president, Lincoln City Mission. Was a delegate to the United Methodist Conference in Portland, Ore., and as lay leader for the Nebraska Conference. Taught adult Sunday School class for 35 years.

Survivors: wife, Monica; son, David, Lincoln; daughter, Mary Kathryn Avery, Dillon, Colo.; grandchildren, Tyler and Amy Avery; great-grandson, Cutter Avery; sister, Marietta Stanley, Lincoln; sister-in-law, brother-in-law, Jeanne and Fred Griffin, Lincoln; aunts; cousins; and many friends.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday, Calvary United Methodist Church, 1610 S. 11th St. Pastor Doyle Burbank-Williams. Private family graveside services Friday morning.
