    Bodwin

    Mrs. Walter R. Bodwin of 2201A Washington St. Manitowoc, died Monday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. She had been in failing health several years.

    Private funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mittnacht funeral home, Manitowoc. Rev. F.C. St. Clair will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

    The former Mayme Forrest was born in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Atty. Gustorus and Esther Kress Forrest. Her father was mayor of Manitowoc at the turn of the century. Mrs. Bodwin attended North Side schools and was employed by the O. Torrison Co. and later in the office of the Aluminum Goods Mfg. co. In 1927, she was married to Walter Bodwin, who died in 1944.

    She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Roy Davis of Appleton; and three nieces, Mrs. Melvin Rotsch of Byron, Tex., Miss Carol Forrest of Houston, Tex., and Miss Ruth Davis of Appleton.

    Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday. The casket will not be opened.
