    Mary E. Granny Jones, 93, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007 at Hemphill Care Center. She was born Sept. 4, 1913 in Milam, TX. to the late Herman & Bertha Bragg and was a life long resident of Sabine County. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 4:00 P.M. at Starr Funeral Home with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Milam, TX. with Bro. Wayne Alford officiating. Survivors: Sons: Hubert Jones of Colmesneil, Lyndon Jones & wife, Frances of Pineland, TX., Daughter, Geraldine Thompson of Conroe, TX., Brother, Leroy Bragg of Milam, TX., 6 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, 17 Great-Great Grandchildren.     Charles Lyndon Jones, 71, of Pineland, died Monday night in the Nacogdoches Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lyndon was born in Milam to Louie C. and Mary Bragg Jones and has lived in Sabine County all his life. He graduated from Hemphill High School in 1959 and from Port Arthur Business College in 1961. He married Frances Kelley on June 1, 1962. Lyndon retired from Temple Inland Industries in December, 2000, after 39 years and 3 months service. During that time he was active in youth programs, First Baptist Church, Volunteer Fire Dept, and was Parade Chairman for several years for Pineland Day celebrations. He was a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in the Plainview Community.

    Lyndon is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Frances Kelley Jones of Pineland, his daughter Mary Frances Jones of Houston, his brother Herman Hubert Jones and his wife Cindi of Woodville, his grandchildren, Joshua Hill, Nicole Salas, Devin Peeler, Amber Johnson and Michael Shives, four step-grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

    Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, Thursday, June 6, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 4:00PM, Friday, June 7, 2013, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, Milam, Texas.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.Box 766, Pineland, TX 75968, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
