    Mary Conn Eddings Kilgore, 84, of Pineland, Texas passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Larkspur Rehab in Lufkin, Texas.



    Mary was born November 7, 1933 in Rosevine, Texas to E. G. Conn and Ethel Baldree Conn. She was a housewife and mother. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Bethel Chapel Baptist Church in Pineland, Texas. Mary loved cooking and baking. She was a very giving lady and loved helping people in whatever way she could.



    Mary is survived by daughters, Sandra Reneau and husband, Bill, of Lufkin, Texas, Martha Reneau, also of Lufkin, Texas, and Kathy Burkhalter and husband, Gary, of Rosevine, Texas; sister, Lilie Faye Sweeny of Flint, Texas; sisters-in-law, Wanda Conn of Rosevine, Texas and Neva Joyce Conn of New Caney, Texas; grandchildren, Bill, April, Josh, Jared, Emily, and Meagan; and great grandchildren, Blake, Kelsey, Jace, Lucas, Logan, Kylee, Conner, and Addison.



    She was preceded in death by her husbands, Blake Eddings and Ruben Kilgore and brothers, Cleburne Conn and Rudolph Conn.



    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas with Rev. Dave Digmon and Rev. Joshua Reneau officiating.



    Burial will follow in Rosevine Cemetery.

    Cleburne Conn

    Funeral services for Cleburne Conn, 72, or Rosevine will be held at 11 a.m. today, January 24, 2008 at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine with Bro. Leo Wright and Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Rosevine Cemetery in Rosevine. He died Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Nacogdoches Hospital.

    Conn was born August 24, 1935, in Sabine County as a son of the late Ethel (Baldree) and Lige Conn and was a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and a member of Harvey Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

    Survivors: his wife, Wanda Conn of Rosevine, son, Rusty Conn of Rosevine; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Larry Smith and Kay and Wes Little, all of Rosevine; grandchildren, Kaci Smith, Larryn Smith, Wyatt Smith, Eli Little, and Ethan Little, all of Rosevine; brother, John R.     Funeral services for Wilma Dean Hinson, 73, of Groves, formerly of San Augustine, were held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine. Burial followed in the Rosevine Cemetery in Sabine County. Rev. Floyd Wright officiated. She died June 25 in Groves. Wilma Dean Hinson was born November 12, 1932 in Rosevine to James Loma BALDREE and Lou T. KERR Baldree. She was owner/operator of Jack's Corner Grocery in Rosevine and worked as an accountant for many years, along with her sister, Jeanette DAVIDSON, was instrumental in developing Twin Lakes Care Center. She is survived by her daughters, Melanie MORRIS of Lafayette, Louisiana and Pattie BOWSER of Houston; sons Tom BOWSER of Jasper and Greg HINSON of Groves; sisters, Jeanette DAVIDSON of San Augustine and Lurene (s/b LUCENE) WESTMORELAND of Groves; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine was in charge of arrangements.

    Jeanette (Baldree) Davidson, age 83, a longtime resident and retired nursing home owner and administrator, of San Augustine, passed away late Friday evening, September 3, 2021, in San Augustine.

    Jeannette was born October 17, 1937, to parents Lou T. (Kerr) Baldree and James Loma Baldree in the Rosevine Community of Sabine County, Texas. Jeanette married the love of her life, the late Gary Davidson, and had celebrated 49 years until his death on July 17, 2005. As an active nursing home administrator, Jeanette was involved in the daily routines and overseeing the care of her residents. She was active in the San Augustine Chamber of Commerce, the Red Hat Ladies, served on the Shelby Savings Bank board of directors, and the San Augustine Memorial Hospital board of directors, and was an active member of First Baptist Church in San Augustine for many years.

    She is survived by her daughter, Karen Noble and her husband Steve of San Augustine; son, David Davidson and his wife Teresa of San Augustine; her grandchildren, Zach Noble and his wife Tiffani, Kade Noble and his wife Kelli, Jacob Noble, Erin Scarber and her husband Brett, and Cameron Noble; her great-grandchildren, Ace Noble, Kala, Grace and Faith Kirkley, Kace and James Noble, Ian and Archer Chase; Aubree, Evan and Eli Scarber. Very special family friends, Becky Haley and Becky Michalec. Along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved Twin Lakes Care Center family.

    She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Lee Davidson; parents, James Loma and Lou T. Baldree; and sisters, Wilma Henson and her husband Jack, and Lucene Westmoreland and her husband Jimmy.

    Pallbearers will be Zach Noble, Kade Noble, Jake Noble, Whit Michalec, Brett Scarber, and Benny Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Bridges, Phil Sublett, Oliver Boyette, Gil Miller, and the Deacons of First Baptist Church in San Augustine.

    Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, in the First Baptist Church, 502 E. Columbia Street in San Augustine. Officiating will be Bro. Jim Moss, Kade Noble, Whit Michalec and Bro. Skipper Eberlan. Interment will follow in the Rosevine Cemetery located on FM 1 in Sabine County, Texas.

    Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from the hours of 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in San Augustine.

In recent years, she enjoyed worshipping and being active with the Temple of God Church as her health permitted.

    Her survivors include her sons, Todd Parrish and wife Brenda of Pineland and Dale Parrish of San Augustine; daughter-in-law, Linda Hamner of Kilgore; granddaughters, Brandi Wilson and husband Michael of San Augustine and Ashley Espinoza and husband Gabriel of Dallas; grandsons, Kyle Parrish of San Augustine and Jason Pearson and wife Caterina of Hemphill; a sister, Juanita Hall of San Augustine; a brother, Timothy Chambers of Nebraska; and five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Chambers and Paul Chambers.

    A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Temple of God Church, located at 206 Yaupon Street in Pineland.

She was born November 13, 2013 in Rosevine, Texas to parents Connie and Emmie Baldree who preceded her in death along with her sister Roslyn McCauley; and her grandsons Craig Martin and Bryan Martin.

    Joyce Young was blessed with grace, beauty, and strength. She lived life with a heart full of love. She loved gatherings with family and friends. She was kind and loving, tender hearted, and deeply devoted to her family. She was a devoted wife, tireless mother, grandmother, loving sister, and steadfast friend. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

    She leaves her memories to her loving husband of 53 years Travis Young; two sons Robert Martin and Howard Martin; two daughters Connie Edwards and Sandy Terry; grandchildren Chad Martin, Leslie Martin, Joshua King, Kelly Girouard, Katey Hart, Emmeline Foster, and Sarah Edwards; numerous great-grandchildren and many other family members and faithful friends throughout the years.

    Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
