After spending a year in Vietnam, he was honorably discharged and returned to Lincoln. Upon returning, he attended Lincoln School of Commerce and graduated with his degree in accounting. Larry enjoyed many hobbies; golfing, cooking, playing softball, hunting and fishing and he was able to share those hobbies with his son Brent. Larry and Brent were able to share an antelope and elk hunting trip which Larry talked about for years. Larry's fondest memories were the times spent at the family cabin at Lake McConaughy. Larry loved the sandhills and enjoyed the terrain and watching the wildlife. Larry was known for his cooking and grilling, and his family and friends will miss his french toast, lasagna, and his cr?me brulee.

Larry was a member of the Kiwanis Club, Capital City Kiwanis Club and American Legion Post #3. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader.

Larry is survived by his wife Peggy, son Brent and daughter-in-law Jana and grandchildren Ardy and Harry.
