EVA BICKLEY CORLEY, entered into rest on December 2, 2009. She was born on October 17, 1911 in a log cabin in Geneva, Sabine County, Texas. She had lived in Houston since 1946 but was proud of her deep East Texas background. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Louise Bickley, four sisters and two brothers. Also preceded her is Herman Corley, the father of her twins. Survivors include her son Kenneth Corley and his twin sister, Kay Corley Kidder and her husband Harrold Kidder; granddaughter, Kathleen Kidder; one sister, Nell Trautmann and husband Henry of Georgetown along with many nieces and nephews. Eva retired from US Civil Service in 1974 after 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Stephens Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 7 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with Doug Horton officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
