Geraldine Sandy McLemore, 70, of Decatur, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Sunbridge Health and Rehabilitation, was born April 21, 1937, in Lawrence County to Joseph and Pauline Hopkins Sandy. She was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church. She retired as a terminal manager from Great Lakes Express Co.

Survivors include two sons, Harold Wayland McLemore Jr. of Carthage, Texas, and Warren Hayes McLemore of Somerville; and grandchildren, Casey McLemore, Jill McLemore, Shane McLemore and Brandon McLemore.

Pallbearers will be Sandy Whitten, Bruce Shaw, Jeff Clem, Jay Roberts, Bayne Hughes and Rod Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Waylon Hopkins and Terry McClellan.

Family/Spouse: Harold Wayland McLemore. Harold (son of Alvis Wallace "Doc" McLemore, Jr. and Cleffa Belle Robinson) was born on 23 Oct 1931 in Alabama; died on 29 Aug 2007 in Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama; was buried in Roselawn Gardens of Memory, Decatur, Morgan County, Alabama.
