    Henery Sherman Hanzel, age 63, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016, in Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston, Texas.

    Henery was born October 25, 1952 in Zavalla, Texas to Emil "Andy" Hanzel, Sr. and Brooksie Lea Bailey Hansel.

    He was a self-employed carpenter.

    He is survived by his son Andy Ray Hanzel of Norwood, daughter Shelley Leggio of Crosby, Texas, 3 brothers: Joey Hanzel and wife Valorie of Little Rock, California, Amos Hanzel and wife Helen of Milam, Texas and Emil Hanzel, Jr. of Pasadena, Texas, sister Emma Louise Hanzel of Huntington, 4 grandchildren: Colby, Haylee, Kaylee, and Kirby, one great grandchild Chloe, his companion Sabrina Hanzel of Broaddus, Texas, his special friend Melodia Lacy Murdock of Lacyville, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Visitation will be from 11~1pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Macune Baptist Church.

    Graveside services will be at 1pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in the Macune Cemetery.
