    Notes:

    He would have been aged 25 when his parent's family moved to Texas. He is listed as an heir to Mary Gentry's estate in 1871. He received a portion of land west of Sherman, Grayson County, TX. He was also listed as an heir of W.G. Gentry on a land transaction in 1883 in Hill County, Texas.

    Lynell Cordell has possibly located him, still in Missouri, at the time of the 1860 census. She notes that Henry counties is in far western Missouri.
