    Per the program handed out at the funeral, his pallbearers were Paul Heuermann, Johnny Butterfras, Vance Hargroves, J.D. Bruce, Jimmy Gibson, Clyde Stewart, Leonard McGee, and Randy Bruce.

    On his Texas Death Certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, he is shown as being buried at the Garden Park Cemetery in Montgomery County, Texas. His usual occupation was listed as Laborer, Construction. The informant was Mike Fullen, son.

    Funeral services for Wendell Eddings, 78, of Rosevine Community will be held at 11:00 a.m. today, June 2, 2005, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Memorial Chapel in San Augustine. Burial will follow at McMahan Chapel Cemetery in Sabine County with Bro. Cliff Durham and Gaylon Eddings, Jr. will officiate. He died Sunday at his residence.

    Wendell Eddings was born in Sabine County on September 23, 1926 to Burnice EDDINGS and Faye HARGROVE Eddings. He was a retired Millwright-machinist for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He served the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church.

    He is survived by his wife, Doris EDDINGS of Rosevine; daughters, Dayna WESNEY of Livingston, Gina JONES and husband Bobby of Diboll, and Jan FARMER and husband Ken of Pasedena; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Rosevine Missionary Baptist Church building fund. Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine is in charge of arrangements.
