  1. 1.  Allen Fields Hammett was born about 1831; and died.

    Notes:

    Went to Van Buren County, Arkansas during the middle to late 1850's and "scouted" the place for the Traywicks. He must have liked what he saw, because most of Gillian's brothers and sisters move there in 1860. It is not known if he and Gilley moved there. (H. Gunn)

    Allen married Gilley Angeline Traywick in 1848. Gilley (daughter of John Traywick, II and Diana Cook) was born about 1831 in Tennessee; died in 1926 in Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
