  1. 1.  Jane AllenJane Allen was born on 5 Dec 1850 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 6 Jan 1926 in Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Rosevine Cemetery, Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

Her middle initial is shown sometimes as C and sometimes as K. It is not known what her actual middle name was.

Nina Fuller always said that her grandmother, Jane (Allen) Fullen was "half Indian." It has not been proved if this is true, or merely a legend. The name ALLEN appears to be of common use among the Cherokees, and perhaps this is where either the actual Indian blood, or legend of Indian blood, came from. The mtDNA of a child of Nina Fuller, a direct female descendant of Jane, was classified as H. This is the most common mtDNA in Europe, and not one associated with Native American lineage. If Jane was part Indian, it was through her father's family, and not in her direct maternal line.

There is a photo of Jane Fullen, presumably taken shortly before her death in 1926, in a black silk bonnet. This bonnet was given by Jane to her granddaughter Nina (Fuller) McLemore. Nina's daughter, Evon Tisdale gave the bonnet to Melinda (McLemore) Strong.

(Research):A photo of her headstone on Find A Grave appears to be incorrect in listing her birthday as 5 December 1849. Blanche Finley Toole showed this instead as 5 December 1850, supported by census records below:

*Jane is the daughter of J.W. Allen by wife Caroline. Jane was born in December 1850, and the 1850 census was taken in October 1850. Therefore, Caroline would have been between 6 and 7 months pregnant at the time of the census. The 1860 census was taken in June, before Jane had reached her 10th birthday.

#The mother of Susan Allen is not known. It does not seem likely that she is the daughter of John's second wife, Margaret Harvey Allen, who had moved back home with their one year old daughter, Mary Allen. Did John have a daughter by a woman other than his then wife, perhaps leading to their separation? Or is Susan perhaps a niece or other family member? Or are Mary/Susan the same child, listed in both households?

His former wife, Margaret, and his daughter Mary are living in another household in 1860, as follows:

    Notes:

According to the following marriage information, Birdwell, R.D. to A.A. Fullen 7 Mar 1898 by W.T. Harvil, M.G. The 1900 Census shows A.A. Fullen to be named Alice A., and that she was born in approximately 1881. I am assuming she is a daughter of John and Jane Fullen, and not of William and Elizabeth Fullen, for the following reasons:

    1) There appear to have been only two Fullen Household's in Sabine County in 1881; that of William Fullen and that of John Fullen. It is assumed one of these two men was her father.

    2) Alice would have been too young to be listed with either Fullen family in 1880. The census for 1890, when she was age 9, was destroyed. She was married in 1898, so is listed with her husband in 1900. This is why she will not be found listed with either family on census records.

    3) According to the Sabine County 1910 Federal Census, John and Jane Fullen had been married for 42 years. They had had 9 children, 7 of whom were still living. By examining other census information, eight of these nine total children can be accounted for. I believe Alice to be the ninth. William and Margaret had also been married for a total of 42 years. They had 6 children, 5 of whom were still living. By examining other census records, all six can be accounted for.

    4) On the 1890 Scholastic Census, Lena, 13, Ginnie 11, and Washington 8 were recorded as attending No. 57, Bethany. Surely if Alice were one of their siblings, she would have been in attendance as well. She and Washington were both born circa 1881. By way of contrast, none of the children of John and Jane Fullen were recorded on the 1890 Scholastic Census. Presumably they were needed at home for farmwork.

Alice married Rush David Birdwell on 7 Mar 1898 in Sabine County, Texas. Rush (son of James Andrew Birdwell and Mary Alice Cogburn) was born on 19 Dec 1877 in Milam, Sabine County, Texas; died on 14 May 1966 in Weslaco, Hidalgo County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

A digital image of her actual Texas Death certificate is viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976. She was shown as a housewife, and the daughter of John W. Fullen. The informant was Beatrice Becton, presumably her daughter.

Daisie married James Levi Becton on 3 Dec 1905 in Sabine County, Texas. James (son of Levi Edward Becton and Emily A. Humphreys) was born on 25 Dec 1883 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 29 Jul 1961 in Houston, Harris County, Texas; was buried in Rosevine Cemetery, Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas. Notes:

Wiley was a contractor for the Highway department, according to the 1920 census. Henry Wright, who also worked for the Highway department, was shown as a boarder in Wiley's home in 1920.

  8. 9.  William Franklin Fullen Descendancy chart to this point (1.Jane1) was born on 13 Jan 1889 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 8 May 1969 in Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas; was buried in Rosevine Cemetery, Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

His Texas Death Certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, show that he was a retired poultry farmer. The informant was his daughter, Mrs. Elvin Edgar.

  9. 19.  Alonzo Alkony Fuller Descendancy chart to this point (4.Viola2, 1.Jane1) was born on 1 Jul 1890 in Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas; died on 20 Dec 1967 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; was buried in Hemphill City Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

In her weekly Sabine County Reporter column, "On the Bright Side", Mary Howell wrote that she remembered Alonzo and Emma Fuller. "Mrs. Emma was a school teacher and she influenced the lives of hundreds of Hemphill students. Alonzo was a carpenter and he built several homes in the Hemphill area including the one hundred and nine year old house that I live in now." (Page 4, July 18, 2007).

The following information was extracted from his obituary: "Lonzo Fuller died at 9 am December 20, 1967 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, where he had been for three weeks. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine County and a member of a pioneer family in this region. He was a retired building contractor. He was survived by his (second) wife, Jeannette Wright Fuller, his daughter Mrs. Lexie Smith of Akron, Ohio, his granddaughter, two brothers Joe and Hermann Fuller both of the Rosevine Community, four sisters Mrs. Nina McLemore of San Augustine, Mrs. Ethly (sic) Eddings of Rosevine, Mrs. Bertha Fuller (sic) of Conroe and Mrs. Tera Coussons (sic) of Carthage. His funeral services were held 2:30 pm Thursday, December 21 in the First Baptist Church in Hemphill. The Reverend Clarence Howell, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Boling, Texas, and the Rev. Tommy Long, pastor of the Newton Church of God, officiated. He was buried in Hemphill cemetery under the direction of Starr Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Leon Adickes, Lon Wright, Oscar Pate, Dan Prado, Joe Howard and Louis McDonald."
According to "A Pictorial History of Sabine County, Texas", Mrs. Alonzo Fuller was a fifth grade teacher at Hemphill in 1941. Per William Kent Anderson, she was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University. This book instead shows Lonzo's name as Lonzo Alcony Fuller. On one census for Sabine County, he was shown as "Lawrence A" instead of Alonzo. This Federal Census also had the number "2" in the column for U-C Vet. Army/Navy.

Alonzo married Emma May Clark on 1 Apr 1911 in Sabine County, Texas. Emma (daughter of Colistis Bryant Clark and Anna Abigail "Abi" Anderson) was born on 12 Oct 1892 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 9 Jun 1951 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas; was buried on 9 Jun 1951 in Hemphill City Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas. 10. 20.  Nina Ophelia FullerNina Ophelia Fuller Descendancy chart to this point (4.Viola2, 1.Jane1) was born on 15 Sep 1891 in Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas; died on 8 Jul 1980 in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas; was buried in Rosevine Cemetery, Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

Nina Fuller was a striking. She was nearly six feet tall and slender. When she unwound her hair from the bun she usually wore, it cascaded down her back almost to her feet. She enjoyed gardening and quilting, growing most of her own vegetables. She was a thrifty woman. She continued to make her own soap from lye, pine rosin and "fat cracklings" even when she could just as easily purchased a bar at the store.

Being the oldest daughter, Nina helped her mother daily with the household chores. She remembers that when she was quite young, her parents went to the State Fair in Dallas by horse and buggy. They came home with a washboard and a box of packaged laundry soap. Nina claims they were the first family in Sabine County to have a washboard, and remembers neighbors coming by on wash day just to see how it worked. The 1940 census indicates she had attended school for six years.

She was a staunch member of the Rosevine Church of God. She truly believed in doing good works, and never turned away anyone in need. Her son Tom remembers that their home was on the "hobo circuit" during the depression. He often passed men asleep on a spare mattress in their garage on his way to school. She fed everyone who came to their door hungry, and made regular visits to the local nursing home to take food to friends and relatives.

Nina Sue Wade, who was a backdoor neighbor to the McLemore family when they lived in town, recalls that her mother relied on her more experienced neighbors parenting advice. The Wade family had several young children, mainly very active boys, with Nina being the oldest. Mrs. Wade worked hard to keep her rambuctious children in line, to no avail. Mrs. McLemore advised her to ignore the minor infractions. Nina Sue recalled her mother often quoting a saying Mrs. McLemore told her, "When your children are young, they step on your shoestrings. When they get older, they step on your heartstrings." She would go on to advise her to cherish her children while they were young and full of spirit, because she would miss them sorely when they were grown and on their own.

Nina McLemore was an independant woman, living alone in a house her brother Lonzo built for her after her husband died. She lived next door to her son Percy, and her grandson's Dental Office was directly behind her home. She was able to live at home and care for herself until she was in her mid 80's, when she went to live with her daughter Evon.

Nina Fuller had an oval, concave portrait drawn of Price, probably from a photo taken of him before his death. She left the portrait to her daughter, Evon. Evon gave the portrait to niece Melinda McLemore Strong, who had it reframed.

  12. 22.  Brooks John FullerBrooks John Fuller Descendancy chart to this point (4.Viola2, 1.Jane1) was born on 1 Mar 1895 in Rosevine, Sabine County, Texas; died on 31 Dec 1918 in Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

Although Brooks was said to have died of tuberculosis, he might actually have died in the great Spanish influenza epidemic of 1918. The disease maneuvered its way into the United States by soldiers, nurses and volunteers, viral carriers returning home from contagious flu infested combat zones. On October 31, 1918, the headlines in neighboring Jasper County, Texas read, "Flu Epidemic Raging the Globe--Over 20 Million Deaths Expected--Anti Influenza Vaccines Fail." The epidemic peaked in East Texas during the icy winter of 1918. (Source: Dony Harrison, Jasper NewsBoy January 20, 1999). No death certificate is on file for Brooks or his brother Price, who both died as young men.

    Notes:

Melinda McLemore remembers visiting her Grandaunt, the widowed Ethel Eddings, when she was a young girl. Even something as ordinary as taking a walk with her grandmother Nina and Aunt Ethel became an exciting adventure. Ethel carried her shotgun with her, constantly on the lookout for those "polecats (skunks) and armadillos" that wreaked havoc on her gardens.

Ethel married Grover David Eddings on 31 Oct 1915 in Sabine County, Texas. Grover (son of Sterling W. Eddings and Lyda E. Hutto) was born about 1889 in Texas; died on 15 Feb 1965 in Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

Herman suffered from tuberculosis, and spent some time at a hospital in San Angelo when his children were still young. His wife and their eldest children, ranging in age from 14 to 10 had to bring in the crops while Herman was hospitalized. James Roland Fuller recounted that "what kept us going beyond our own best efforts was the help and encouragement of the good people of the county, especially their friends and neighbors in Rosevine, who came to help work the crops. Many of them pledged one days work each week, as needed, even while busy with their own crops. With their help and the grace of God we were able to survive."

When Herman returned, he was not able to farm. He traded his animals and equipment to a local store owner as a down payment on the store. He also was hired by the Rosevine school district to pick up and deliver students to the school. Ruth also helped at the store. As the years passed, Herman regained enough strength to operate stores and service stations throughout east and southest Texas.

    Notes:

Francis "Linda" James followed her soulmate and beloved husband, Kurt Butler, to be in the arms of our Savior February 3, 2023. There she met her mama Arletha "Arlie" Cooper, daddy Jesse Howard James, brother little Cole Harold, and 3 beautiful sisters, Bennie "Neni" Adkins, Betty Lou Foster and Dorothy Juan Hart. What a reunion!

She is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Terry) McCue, Toni (Matt) Wolff, and Angel James Butler; 8 adored grandchildren who know her as mamalynn: Joshua, Wesley, Rachel Lynn, Le'Chelle, Erica, Brooke, Elijah, and Wyatt; as well as many great grandchildren.

Mom was a devoted, mother, wife, mamalynn, aunt, cousin and friend. And to some strangers, their "angel." Mom was always there anytime she was needed. Only a phone call and drive away. She is the strongest person I know. Even in her illness and final earthly days, she declared, "I dont need medicine; Jesus Christ is all I need!" A woman of unwavering faith. We are so thankful she brought us up in the truth. She was our nurture, rock, shield, best friend, confidant, cheerleader and compass. To this day, she is still pointing us to Christ. Amen. Thank you, Mommy! I thank God for you and miss you every second of every day.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Texas.

    Notes:

Vessie McLemore didn't see the importance of naming his children immediately after they were born. He was content to simply call them "baby" until a name seemed to fit. Percy remained Baby for several years, until his parents began to call him "Baby Percy" after a bottle of Patent Medicine popular at the time. His middle initial was shown as "C" on the 1920 census.

Percy started helping his father on the ranch at a very young age. Evon remembers him going on a freight train with cattle to Kansas City, by himself, when he was only 14. He also became a rancher, as well as operating a cotton gin that had been his fathers. He also kept bees as a hobby.

Percy married Elma Callie Smith on 19 Apr 1936 in San Augustine County, Texas. Elma (daughter of Henry Clayton Smith and Alice Hines) was born on 14 Mar 1914 in San Augustine County, Texas; died on 23 Oct 2001 in San Augustine County, Texas; was buried in Liberty Hill Cemetery, Bland Lake, San Augustine County, Texas. Notes:

Evon was a tiny baby, weighing only 2 and 1/2 pounds a few days after birth. Considering she was born and cared for at home, and not in an incubator, it is a tribute both the Evon's spirit and her mother's loving care that she not only survived but flourished. In describing her infant daughter's size, Nina used to relate that "her face was smaller than a half dollar, and I could have put her in a coffee pot, and still closed the lid." Evon picked out her own name when she was old enough. She liked the sound of Yvonne, but wasn't sure of the spelling. She was listed as Eva V. on the 1920 census.

When Evon started school, she arrived everyday atop a pony led by her brother Percy. Evon's father also thought it important that his daughter be exposed to culture. When she was a young girl, she weekly took the train 10 miles from Steep Creek to Bronson in order to take piano lessons. Most weekends were spent "visiting." Evon has close relations with her many cousins still today.

She attended her primary years of school in rural Sabine County, but attended High School in San Augustine County. Her father paid for her to board at the home of Dr. Davis in the winter, so she could to this. Evon was active in school, perfoming in piano recitals and playing the lead character in the 1932 Senior Class play, "Oh, Kay!"

School Term Brought to Successful Close

Thursday night at the high school auditorium the commencement exercises were attended by a large crowd....A piano solo was skillfully rendered by Evon McLemore, class musician....diplomas were presented by R. V. Greer, superintendent of the local schools to the following candidates:
Randolph Hankla, Charles S. McMillan, Willys G. Blount, Sam Henry Williams, Lois Marie Thompson, A. C. Everett, Evon McLemore, Willie Mae Stevenphson, Geneva Stallings. Earl McEachern, Hoyt J. Alford, Sidney Westbrook, Allene Stewart, Ruby Mitchill, Mildred Whitton, Clifford Childers, Bonnie Partin, Zelma Soward, Alran Hays, James Bridges, Helen Alford and Early Needham.

After Evon graduated from San Augustine High School, she went on to Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches. She became a teacher, majoring in Home Economics and minoring in English. The college classmate that was her best friend was Merlene McLemore, a cousin.

Vessie was able to help his daughter get a job teaching in Chinquapin through a friend of his who was school trustee. She later taught in nearby Broaddus.

Soon after Evon started teaching in Broaddus, Dale Tisdale's mother called her son, who was working in Lawrenceville, Indiana, to tell him that "there were some attractive new teachers in town, and he ought to come home soon for a visit." He did, and fell promptly in love with Evon.

Evon continued to teach after her marriage, while Dale managed his parents store. During World War II, Evon moved to Fort Worth while Dale was in the service. She taught a small school district just outside of the city. They also briefly lived in San Antonio. The Tisdale's returned to East Texas, and Dale opened a small general store in Zavalla.

She returned to Stephen F. Austin and received her Master's in Education in 1951. After the Tisdale's moved to Lufkin, Evon obtained a teaching position at Hudson High School. She remained there until she retired in 1972. Her daughter, Jan, began teaching Spanish at the Hudson in 1971, the year before her mother retired.

She loved music, art and the natural world. She had a beautiful soprano voice and was a member of the Angelina County Choir for a number of years. She was good at creative arts, and especially loved China painting. She participated in this after her retirement, as well as traveling with Dale and Bob with the AirStream Travel Trailer club. She was an active member of the Timberland Drive Church of Christ.

Both Evon and Dale were instrumental in the formation of the Angelina County Association for Retarded Citizens (ARC) and supporters of the Lufkin Workshop and Opportunity Center.

    Notes:

As a young man, Earl and his brother Ray helped manage their father's ranch in Pearsall. Evon recalls a terrible drought at that ranch one summer. Her brothers told her that they had to use a blowtorch on cactuses to get enough water for the cattle.

He has a military marker at his gravesite "PFC, US Army WW II"

When he was shipped oversees during the war, he and Evon worked out a code so his family would know where he was stationed, because all correspondence was heavily censored. The first letter he sent to Evon was addressed to Mrs. R.O. Tisdale. The next letter, to Mrs. M.E. Tisdale. She knew he must therefore be in Rome. He was later moved elsewhere in Italy, but Evon said she never was able to figure out where because some of the letters came out of sequence, and others never made it home at all.

McLemore was born Sept. 12, 1916, in Sabine County as a son of the late Nina (Fuller) and Vessie Eugene McLemore. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of World War II, a farmer/rancher, and a member of the Rosevine Church of God.

Survivors: wife, Velta McLemore of San Augustine County, sons, Donald McLemore of Woodland and Bruce McLemore of Tarkington Prairie; a daughter, Nina Weimer of Spring; two brothers, Lynn McLemore of San Augustine and Tommy McLemore of Houston; a sister, Evon McLemore of Lufkin; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held May 2 at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Chapel in San Augustine. Interment followed at Thomas Cemetery, San Augustine.

Earl's oldest son Donald wrote the following article about his father for his company newsletter shortly after his father's funeral:

    In Memory of My Dad

I remember the lessons well because they were taught without compromise, a deep sense of right and wrong and what was best for his family. Those lessons were sometimes harsh and hard for us kids to understand so we sometimes did the exact opposite from what Dad wanted. Now as I look back, I can see that may of those lessons took root regardless of what we did then.

Dad was born September 17, 1916 into a family of five boys and one girl. His mom and dad were farmers/ranchers, not poor but certainly not rich. I was born in 1940 just after the Great Depression and I know the defining effect that period of time had on everyone. People that endured the depression were so afraid of not having enough that they saved every penny and did without things that we would not think twice about buying today. Due to that experience and the intense drive to be successful, the McLemores developed the reputation of being extremely tight with money and that lesson was passed on to their kids as independence. "With money you can be independent and not have to depend on your family or the government for support." I always said money would not be important to me. However, I see that same independent driven trait in every one of the McLemores today to some extent.

MBM has been in existence for almost twenty seven years. In all those years, I have come in contact with thousands of people, both rich and poor who did not have parents like we were lucky enough to have. They taught us the values that made this country great. I remember Dad's mom (Nina Fuller) saying in front of me one day when Dad was perplexed and seeking advice on how to handle a difficult situation "Earl, regardless of what he does or says it doesn't give you the right to do what is wrong." That phrase along with many others gave our lives direction, focus and nutured the development of character. What is amazing to me now is that it took me until I was in my mid thirties to begin to realize how fortunate my siblings and I were for having learned those lessons.

Dad had four major heart attacks over a three and a half year period. Someone like myself would not have survived the first one. Less than ten percent of his heart still functioned when it finally quit working forever and yet he still did what he loved to do the most and that was to work. "An idle mind is the devils workshop" he used to tell mom when she thought he was working too hard.

When word got out that Dad had gone on to meet his Maker, people from everywhere responded with cards, flowers, phone calls, donations, food and words of comfort to the family. My goal will be to try to pass on those I come into contact with a little part of my Dad.

He told his niece, Melinda, that he legally changed his name to John Lynn. Perhaps he was initially named in honor of his mother's brother-in-law, Dalton Cousins.

The Texas Birth Certificate in the name Dalton showed that he was the sixth living of nine children in total born to his mother.

Mildred Alyne Fuller Toner,86, our beloved Mother, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Baptist Orange Hospital in Orange, Texas. She peacefully departed this life with her devoted family by her side.

Mildred was born in Rosevine, Texas on January 12, 1925 she was the eldest child of James Herman Fuller and Ruthie Mae McCroskey.

Mildred grew up in Sabine County and graduated from Rosevine High School as Valedictorian. In order to attend Texas Women's University in the fall she also continued for six more weeks of instruction at Pineland High School and graduated from there as well. After a year of attending college at Denton, TX, Mildred transferred to Stephen F. Austin and continued college to become an educator. Unfortunately, World War II began and Mildred was needed to teach school at Brooklyn High School because many teachers were drafted.

Mildred left there, as many young women did, and joined the war effort by moving to Dallas to work in an aircraft factory and later to Beaumont to work at Bethlehem Steel. During the intervening war years she met her sweetheart, Francis James (Buddy) Toner in Beaumont, Texas, while working in the office at the port. Following the war, Mildred joined Buddy in Indianapolis , Indiana where he was attending Butler University and they were united in marriage. She became a part of an extended and loving Irish family. Buddy transferred to Texas A & M University where he would study to become a mechanical engineer. They left College Station to live in Beaumont, TX where in the early years of her marriage Mildred would quit her teaching job at Chenier Business College to become a fulltime mom. Mildred and Buddy would travel the United States as he worked for various companies as an engineer and plant manager. Finally ending up back in Orange, Texas they bought a home and enjoyed raising and educating their five children. As her children all entered school, not one to be idle, she held various jobs working in the offices at Sears, JC Penney and her son-in-law Michael Mazzola's Insurance office.

Always a lover of knowledge, when her oldest children began college she again felt an urge for higher education and attended Lamar University. She also felt it was very important to give back to the communities in which she lived and was a member of the Red Cross as a Gray Lady at Orange Memorial Hospital and a lifetime member of the PTA supporting teachers and education.

Mildred was a member of the Church of God her entire life, a devoted Christian, who participated fully at the churches in Orange and Rosevine (in later years) holding secretarial and Sunday school leader positions. After the death of her husband she built a home in Rosevine on the land where she was born. While living in Rosevine she worked as an Avon saleslady who achieved the Silver Circle Status within the company.

During her years in Orange and Rosevine she was always there to help care for and cheer on her children and grandchildren assisting her family in every way possible. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Francis James Toner, two sisters: Narvalyn Ellison, and Ola Jean Ford, four bothers: Conrad Fuller, Bobby Joe Fuller, and David Fuller and Kenneth Fuller. Those left to survive Mildred are her children: John Brendan Toner (Melaine) of Rosevine, Kathleen Ruth Toner Mazzola (Michael), Mary Camille Toner Fuller (Preston) and Frances Patrice Toner Lewis (Eddie) of Orange and Ramona Jean Toner Darnley (John) of The Woodlands. Also surviving are three brothers: Roland Fuller (Betty) of Nacogdoches, Herman Fuller (Jr.)(Charlene) of Rosevine, and Francis Dwain Fuller (Oquilla) of Houston. She is also survived by her beloved Uncle Ray McCroskey (Cortez) of Sarepta, LA.

Mildred leaves behind her 16 beloved grandchildren: Jack, Hunter, Shane, Chad, Rebel, Brendan, Amy, Amber, Jennifer, April, Patrice, Michael, Nick, Alex ,Tara, and Frank, and her 17 adorable great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 12 at 2:00 PM at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, TX. The family will be receiving friends from 10 AM until the funeral begins. Interment will follow in Rosevine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Rosevine Church of God or a charity of your choice.
