She was the granddaughter of Walter DEANE and Joan WALSELE. who were married 12 Nov 1565 at Buckland, St. Mary, Somerset. His will was dated 7 July 1585, and proved 10 July 1591. Joane Walsele Deane's will was dated 29 Mar 1597 and proved 10 May 1597. (SFAA, Strong Family History Update, Vol. III, p. xxiv.).
